MJH Places 2nd in League Volleyball Tournament

The Minneapolis Junior High volleyball team finished in second place on Saturday, October 10, at the League Tournament in Russell.  In first round play, Minneapolis defeated Beloit 25-7, 25-12.  In second round play, Minneapolis defeated Southeast of Saline 24-26, 25-22, and 15-11.  The championship match found Minneapolis facing Kanopolis, a team that had already defeated Minneapolis in regular league play.  The Lions played tough, but were once again defeated by the Bulldogs 12-25, 19-25 for a second place league finish.

The MJH VB team will conclude their season this week with regular play at Beloit on Thursday, October 15, and the Minneapolis B-Team Tournament on Saturday, October 17.
