Clark Medals at District FFA Livestock Judging

The Minneapolis FFA competed in the North Central District livestock judging career development event held at the Cico Park in Manhattan. In the greenhand division, which is for freshman, Meredith Clark brought home a medal finishing 5th out of 83 contestants. The Greenhand team of Meredith, Amy Hauck and Stuart Griffin placed 10 out of 17 schools. In the Senior Division, Minneapolis took 11 out of 17 teams. Daryl Simmons placed 15 individually out of 89 contestants. Other competitors were Jake Eckert and Dylan Crosson. The contest consisted of nine classes of beef, swine, and sheep with a set of oral reasons over each species. They also took a written test.
