MGS Fitness Backpacks

The USD 239 School Health Council received a $1,000 Blue Cross Blue Shield Grant. Most of this has been spent on “Fitness Backpacks” for MGS. Students will be able to check out a backpack and use the equipment with their family to participate in aerobic activities and review educational materials that support nutrition and wellness.
In
an effort to evaluate the effectiveness of the backpacks, we are
asking the student to fill out and return a simple survey.
This will allow us to document how the backpack has
influenced their lives. These “Fitness Backpacks” have been
provided to compliment the goals of health and wellness for the
students at MGS.
